All I can say to that is..... Potatoes! :D
Very apt for the last three photos Anna :)
Aha! The delightful members of the Solanaceae Family! They are a mixed bunch - some of them I love so much I could eat them; others are absolute poison.
A very varied family with some black sheep, Crystal
Thank you Janet.
Aubergine, Tomato, Potato?
Spot on Elaine!
Are we seeing deadly nightshade/belladonna? They are related to spuds....thinks I...maybe mistaken though. I remember my childhood running wild in Wales, I was taught what to avoid.xxxx
Deadly nightshade is definitely related to potatoes, Snowbird but thankfully I have none to photograph. Potato fruits are poisonous too.
I couldn't get the top one as not growing aubergines this year (how quickly the memory fades!) but was right about the tomatoes and potatoes. Lovely flowers, aren't they!
They are Caro - so many fruit and vegetable plants have lovely flowers
Got the Tomato and Potato, didn't recognise the aubergine. I've got 3 deadly nightshades on my plot. Will photograph them tomorrow and post later.
We are hoping that this year we will have more tham just flowers on the aubergine, Rooko
I have many trouble with tomatoes this year! The vegetable flowers are beautiful!
Oh dear - I hope you end up with some tomatoes, Malar
