  3. That really is Sunshine isn't it! It's fabulous how vibrant and sunny Yellow can make a border look even on a gloomy day.

    1. The day that I took the photos it was bright and sunny, Linda but you are right they provide a patch of sunlight when it's gloomy too

  4. Lovely. I've been tiptoeing round photographing the last of the flowers today as well. Let's hope autumn isn't too hasty in arriving.

    1. I hope it last CJ as I have a Michaelmas Daisy Purple Dome that didn't get round to flowering last year and I'd really like to see it flower this year.

  6. This post is a timely reminder that I must find a camera that does close up shots. And also that Rudbeckia should be on the shopping list for next spring.

    1. My camera is just set to the widest angle setting and then I ger up close to the subject and the camera does the rest. Also being a high res camera I can crop in to get the detailed close-ups.
