  5. Such pretty blooms - at some point, we hope to restore a rocky, weedy area in front of our driveway and I'm thinking Alpine plants will fit the bill in that area.

  6. I've always enjoyed alpines, and this must have been a lovely treat for you. I will never forget seeing them in the wild country in Iceland, incredible beauty, and the surprise of coming across a single tiny plant, a huge burst of colour, in the vast expanse of a lava field.
